Job description

Your tasks with us

As a (Senior) Cloud Engineer / Architect you are the central technical contact for our customers – across our entire portfolio of cloud, AI and security solutions:

✓Cloud foundation & migration: You design and implement secure, scalable GCP architectures – from the landing zone through container platforms on GKE to productive workload migration, automated with Terraform.

✓AI & GenAI: You design AI-powered solutions with Gemini Enterprise and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP) and take GenAI use cases from prototype to production.

✓Security, governance & compliance: You build security-by-design principles into every architecture and advise on topics such as IAM, Google SecOps and cloud sovereignty.

✓Managed services: You help build and evolve our Managed Cloud & AI Services for the stable operation of our customer environments.

✓Pre-sales & consulting: You support customer meetings technically, run strategy workshops and readiness assessments and translate requirements into solution outlines, effort estimates and roadmaps.

✓Project steering & enablement: You brief colleagues, freelancers and partners, keep the technical thread in the project and deliver technical trainings for our customers.

What you bring with you

✓Completed STEM degree: (computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics or similar).

✓Several years of experience as a cloud engineer or cloud architect: ideally with sound know-how in Google Cloud (GCP).

✓Broad technical foundation: Compute, storage, Kubernetes (GKE), cloud networking principles (VPC, DNS, load balancing, security aspects) and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform – you don't have to be an expert in everything, but you understand how the pieces fit together.

✓Practical experience with GenAI: ideally with Gemini Enterprise, GEAP or comparable platforms.

✓AI-first mindset: You think and work AI first – GenAI tools such as Gemini, Gemini Notebook, Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor are a natural part of your daily work, from research through concepts to code.

✓Fast learner: You quickly familiarize yourself with new products, technologies and customer environments.

✓Google Professional certifications (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus, but not a must.

✓Consulting & communication skills: You explain complex technology in an understandable way – to decision-makers, colleagues, freelancers and partners – and convince with pragmatic solution approaches.

✓Hands-on & team player: You get stuck in, share your knowledge and want to build something together.

✓Very good German and English language skills.

Salary range: €60,000 – €85,000 gross per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
