Job description

Your tasks with us

As a (Senior) Cloud Architect, you are the central technical contact person for our customers — across our entire portfolio of cloud, AI and security solutions:

✓Strategy & consulting: You accompany customers from the first cloud strategy through readiness assessments to the concrete roadmap.

✓Cloud foundation & migration: You design and implement secure, scalable GCP architectures — from the landing zone to productive workload migration.

✓AI & GenAI: You design AI-supported solutions with Google Gemini and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP, formerly Vertex AI) and bring GenAI use cases from prototype to production.

✓Security, governance & compliance: You integrate security-by-design principles into every architecture and advise on topics such as IAM, Google SecOps and cloud sovereignty.

✓Managed services: You support the development and further development of our Managed Cloud & AI Services for the stable operation of our customer environments.

✓Workshops & enablement: You conduct strategy workshops, AI readiness checks and technical trainings for our customers.

What you bring with you

✓Completed STEM degree: (computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics or similar).

✓Several years of experience as a cloud architect: with sound know-how in Google Cloud (GCP).

✓Extensive knowledge in compute, storage, container orchestration with Kubernetes (GKE): a solid understanding of cloud networking principles (VPC, DNS, load balancing, security aspects) as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.

✓Practical experience with GenAI: — ideally with Google Gemini, GEAP or comparable platforms.

✓Google Professional certifications (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus, but not a must.

✓Broad architecture understanding: You think of cloud infrastructure, security and AI holistically and can unite these topics in customer solutions.

✓Consulting competence: You communicate confidently with decision-makers and convince with technical depth and pragmatic solution approaches.

✓Hands-on & team player: You get stuck in, share your knowledge and want to build something together.

✓Very good German and English skills.
